Have you linked Languages Alive to your online class? If you would like to discuss, contact Peter.
If you are online why not check out the chat and see who else is there. Perhaps you would like to have a chat ;o)
Welcome to Languages Alive
... the space to be, to share and to learn with and from each other, for all of us who are interested in languages.
We would like this online space to become a meeting point for teachers, learners and other professionals linked to languages and encourage and enable the creation of learning communities and share our passion for languages and cultures.
Things to do after joining ;o)
1. Please have a look around and familiarise yourself with the structure and content of our online community space.
2. Remember to check out the netiquette too.
3. Upload a photograph of yourself within your 'My Page' and write a few things about yourself you would like to share with the community. Include information about your love for languages, how it all started, what you are doing currently and your goals.
4. It would be great to start writing a blog about your language teaching/learning and share your experiences with other likeminded individuals.
5. You are very welcome to upload/link photographs and videos. Please make sure that you have the permission of people shown and avoid images that promote agressive behaviour, hate and smoking. Any offensive images/videos will be removed.
Please post your questions within the relevant discussions or create a new one if needed. Thanks.
Find - Use - Re-use - Share - Expand
If this is the first time you use a social network and/or a blog, please watch the mini video clips.
Thank you very much

that every member fully understands the core rules of netiquette.
These can be found in the book 'Netiquette' by Virginia Shea which can be accessed at...
Hope you like the photo of me picking my dessert in Greece recently!
Well done to Chrissie for designing the site and getting up and running.
Spread the word!
I will be at the Cleveland Show this Saturday promoting our language classes if you are around, I will be the one, not in a Kimono! Watch this space for photos!
